Pastor Jeff encouraged us in the Word by asking the question, "Is our faith influencing our giving and generosity?" Giving is just as much a part of the Christian faith as is every other act of worship, and the Word tells us that we have been given all things by God's generous hands. So, when we give, we give generously what God has generously given to us.
