Pastor Doug used the seventh chapter of Nehemiah as a way to illustrate how we need to be proactive about protecting our lives and hearts from the world around us just like Nehemiah was proactive about protecting the city once the wall was built. God has given us freedom to enjoy the boundaries that protect us. We have personal relationship with Him so we are guaranteed life, guidance, and support. Finally we have the promise of victory so we can stand confident in the midst of trials.
