Pastor spoke about Nehemiah and the people of Israel and how they called out to God in prayer. Pastor Doug encouraged us that we can pray in all situations and they can be long or "shotgun" prayers where we speak in moments of desperation or frustration and we give God a quick blast of what we are feeling. But we know that a life of prayer keeps us connected with God and we are transformed and rebuilt in the process.
