Pastor Doug started a Christmas series by taking a look at the historical setting in which Christ came and how that played into the Christmas story. We looked at the lead up to Jesus' coming by preparing the way for John the Baptist's birth, the one who would eventually "prepare the way" for Jesus. All of this shows that God is in control and even in the midst of our doubts and failures, God makes all things new.
